I'm so glad of this month play on the ART PLAYGROUND BLOG!!

My muse for this time of the year is definitely the Changing season - AUTUMN!!

The summer in ISRAEL is very long and exhausting. it's very hot and dry.

When Autumn comes, everything changes, moves and regenerate. not only in nature, but also in ourselves.

I love this time very much. all the leaves are falling and the nights slowly become pleasant and chilly.

The colors of this month completely stimulate my muse and desire to create

"oh blessed mistake" - our theme this month on ART PLAYGROUND BLOG

Art is made by human beings who often make mistakes.

And because it is not an exact science, mistakes in it are human and exceptional to me. This is what makes that special touch of an artist and the art unique.

They say that we learn from our mistakes, but in my eyes this cliché is not true.

To me, we repeat our mistakes, because that's how we are - human.

And that's beautiful to me. Though sometimes unpleasant…

In conclusion, We all make mistakes, no one is free of them.

Our mistakes are part of us(and our art) and what distinguishes us, and lets face it, a world without mistakes will be very boring!!

For the special colors of the month I prepared my new planner which will certainly be full of mistakes .... lol

It is very difficult in our way of life those days, not to be influenced by the endless art of some brilliant artists.

I love to see creations of other artists, I very much learn, grow and be influenced by it.

I think I'm still trying to find my way.

It will arrive.

For Sure.

For me, being authentic is to NOT think what the other will say and not to create out of a desire to please.

For me, The important thing is ME.

My time with the piece from the moment it is in my head until it rolls between my hands to complete.

This month, the colors threw me into a stormy sea to a completely chaos, but in the end everything came in place.

Thank you for those who inspire me.

Hello Hello!

This is my second inspiration project for this month on the ART PLAYGROUNG BLOG and this time I tried to express my feelings through my art journal.

I chose pictures from the FOETUNE TELLER BY 7 DOTS collection, an amazing collection with Gypsy characters. Through the pictures I created an imaginary story about a strong gypsy woman who leads the entire family in the hardships of life. I tried to pour the imaginary story that came to mind through the colors of the challenge. I felt that I need to use yellow from the color scheme and added some black to it.

I added background stamps and all kinds of embellishments to highlight the pictures.

Finally, I chose sentences that would emphasize my feeling for that woman.

I'm so excited to share with you my first inspirational project as one of the art playground blog DT!!

The inspiration from the color scheme gave me a sense of summer.

Summer for me represents a time of vacation, a time of freedom and an opportunity to do things that we can not do in the rest of the year, and that is actually the story I wanted to convey in the project.

When I came upon the wonderful picture of the talented photographer KATIE ANDELMAN, I felt that I had found my "summer".

As building the composition, i made sure to create a field of flowers for my focal point to run comfortably in it, and even to give it wings to support the sense of freedom from her spread out hands.

Finally i added an easy going sentence which remainded me to maintain any favorite moment that we have.

at first i didn't add any black on the spread and it looked like that:

but then i tried some splashes and background stamps with black ink and i think it looks so much better!

This page inspiration came from the beautiful colors of this month art playground blogscheme with my favorite colors on it

I had so much fun playing and used the gorgeous papers from "prima" - "love story"

Hello all and happy june!!

i'm so excited to share with you my inspiration on the second and fantastic june challenge on ART PLAYGROUND BLOG.

Just look at the color schema - perfect!!

The bright naive colors and the shabby chic style is what drew me to the world of scrapbooking and mixed media in the first place.

I decided to search for a sentence that will be able to remind me all the time of what really matters.

so I came up with the idea of a frame with an Inspiration sentence that would be in front of me all the time when I'm working.

The inspiration sentence is the focal point of the work and I decided to emphasize it by the other elements in it.

The frame is colored first with gesso, crackle glaze, acrylic art alchemy (light patina) and then gesso again to make a wash kind of look...

I framed the sentence with a white embossed chipboard, adding scraps paper, cuttings of leaves and flowers, molds and lace.

All the papers that i used here are by PRIMA "Love Story" (love love love it!!) .

I placed the sentence and all the elements on the left side of the frame (not in the center!), and I added a secondary focal point with resembling colors on the top right of the frame to keep the interest.

The shabby style is characterized by lots of details so I could not leave this side empty.

By arranging such a composition, I created a pleasant movement to the eye that moves first from the focal point of the work to the secondary focal point and back again to the first one.

Today i want to show you my MEMORIES canvas.

For my focal point i used a beautiful picture taken from PION DESIGN paper. this picture is my main and the biggest elemant in my canvas.

The word MEMORIES inspire me to look for a vintage photo which connected to an old moment in the past that we cherish.

For the creative challenge i added a mold frame as a second focal point to support the main element and they create a story together. the boy has a kind of longing look in his eyes that represent a sweet memory in my canvas story.

The 2 elements connect with the boy's look and with the actual word: MEMORIES

I had a great time working on this one

I decided that a picture of a blur and mysterious forest will serve as my focus point.

it is also, as you can see, the most biggest element of all elements that I've used.

I tried to support my main element with leaves, flowers and chipboard branches which connected by texture and colors with the dark forest on my picture

Today i'm sharing with you my new project for November Mixed Media & ART Challenge "Mysterios".

This moodboard challenge made me think about the art of architecture and it's influence through the years. for example the baroque artistic movement who took place at the 16-18 century and feature complex, flowing & dramatic designs like all the decoration at the moodboard.

The second thing i was inspired by was the rust, which immediately connected to the mysterios feeling of an old object, that has been untouched for a long time.

The rust and patina colors, were my natural choice in that project.

I'm here today to show you my new birthday card to a sweet little girl that turned 4 years old this month.

Her mummy and i are "happy mail" buddies, so we exchange craft mail every mounth.

This card made specially for her daughter and will be on the next delivery...

I took the inspiration for it from the lovly Lemoncraft blogwhich introduce a wonderful moodboard that took me straight to use 'Tiny Miracles' collection by lemoncraft.

This month challenge was all about the world of dreams and fantasy.

This challenge took me to a magical imaginary kind of world. i choose to make a layout with a gorgeous image of a beautiful fairy which i adore.

The moodboard inspiraed me to use dark blue and yellow, circles and elements such as branches and leafs.

i absolutely loved visiting my imaginary Inner world throughout this challenge.

I was inspired by a few things in the mood board. first, the gorgeous palette of blue, purple, black and gold which guided me to make the background with the help of lindy's stampgang mists.

The golden mandalas and the seashells influence me as well.
